The connecting device (10) has twelve double plug-in elements (14a-14c) each of which has contact points (16a-16c,18a-18c). The double plug-in elements are connected to twelve-pin elements (20a,20b) via conduction paths (46) of twelve-pin elements that are provided with respective contact points (22a,24a,26a,40b,42b,44b). The contact points of double plug-in elements are connected to respective contact points of the twelve-pin elements via conduction paths. An independent claim is included for cable connecting system.
