The system has a metallic conductor sleeve (24) receiving a high volt cable (12), and a contact element (14) providing an electrical contact between the sleeve and an electric component. The sleeve includes a receiving portion (26) for receiving the cable, and a plug-in portion (28) to be fitted to a receiving area (32) of the contact element such that, during connection of the plug-in portion to the receiving area, a rotational connection between the sleeve and the contact element is produced. The receiving area of the contact element covers the plug-in portion of the sleeve. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical connection assembly (2) a method for connecting an electrical conductor with an electric component.
