The component has two plate-shaped elements (7) i.e. anodized aluminum plates, lying on each other. An element is changed by activation in length and/or size and/or deformation and made of a shape memory material such that the element is connected with the plate-shaped elements. The element exerts force application on the plate-shaped elements to achieve a variable sliding friction and/or static friction during lengthening and/or size and/or deformation. The elements are provided with a frame element as counter bearings for absorbing forces. The element is designed as strip-, wire- and/or spiral shaped-, and plate spring, and a film-, a flat plate- or plate. The plate-like elements are made of glass, ceramic, plastic or fiber reinforced plastic.
