The method involves successively inserting a transmission adapter in both fitting holes of a lower part (11) and an upper part (10) of an adjusting and centering element (7), where the adapter includes two fitting pins (12) and a reference marker on a free side. Combination of the lower part/transmission adapter and the upper part/transmission adapter are scanned. Determined scan data are merged. Digital creation of the virtual adjusting and centering element is performed based on a spatial position of a magnet plate and the lower and upper parts equipped with the adapter.
