The method involves transporting the cooling provided from an outdoor unit (2) to a fan convector (1) by using a heating and cooling medium, and then discharging to the room air. The heat provided from the outdoor unit is transported to the fan convector by using the heating and cooling medium, and then delivered to the room air. The heat provided from a fossil heater (4) is transported to the fan convector by using a heat transfer medium, and then released into the room air. The selection of an operating mode is performed depending on operating parameters and measuring values.
