The use of ground/air source heat pumps as a principal heat generator in domestic and commercial buildings is growing, which is a positive move for all concerned. The energy savings that heat pumps were designed to offer, however, are not always being achieved because they are routinely paired with heat emitters that will struggle to provide optimal efficiencies.
