The headlight (60) has housing (50) in which a lighting fixture (40) is arranged. A diaphragm (30), a unit for headlight range control and a holder for unit for headlight range control are provided. The unit for headlight range control is connected with the holder. An adjustment mechanism is connected with the holder and through which the position of the holder is adjusted along the radiation direction of the headlight. The diaphragm has a guide into which the holder is inserted and is adapted to receive the holder.
