The tilting device has a spindle drive (4) for tilting a cab (2), where the spindle drive has a rotatable threaded spindle (7) and a threaded nut (8) which is rotatably mounted on the threaded spindle, so that the spindle drive converts a rotational movement of the threaded spindle in a linear movement of the threaded nut. The threaded nut engages to the tiltable cab of the utility vehicle (1), during which the threaded spindle is supported to a chassis of the utility vehicle.
