The plate heat exchanger has solution channels and coolant channels for evaporating, absorbing, desorbing or condensing a medium, where the solution channels are formed between heat exchanger plates stacked on each other. The medium is flowed in the solution channels. The refrigerant- and solution channels are formed in two portions by a separating wall that is extended in the longitudinal axis. Two channel portions are provided with inlets and outlets for the medium and act as an evaporator and absorber or as evaporator and condenser or as desorber and condenser.
