The battery (10) has several battery modules (12), in which each battery module comprises several battery cells stacked side by side or sequentially arranged. The battery module includes a dummy cell that is arranged with a temperature sensor between two battery cells. Each dummy cell comprises two temperature sensors, in which one temperature sensor detects the temperature of first side of dummy cell and other temperature sensor detects the temperature of second side of the dummy cell positioned in the battery cell of respective battery module.
