The camera (1) has an actuating device (8) that comprises two main operating elements for displaying a limited number of an attitude parameter diaphragm number and an exposure time, and for setting and displaying the selection values of the number and the time. The actuating device has a secondary actuator that is positioned centrally between the main operating elements which are arranged point-symmetrical to a neutral light value, for displaying a limited number of a light value (13) symmetrically with respect to the neutral light value and for displaying a selection light value. An independent claim is included for a method for setting and displaying the selection values of the setting parameters of the attitude parameter diaphragm number and the exposure time and for displaying the selection light value of a camera.
