The chimney element has a supply air module (20) that is provided with a supply air duct (22) having longitudinal axis (24). The medium e.g. air is passed into a distribution module (40) through supply air duct. The distribution module is provided to forward the media. An exhaust air module (60) is provided with an exhaust air duct (62) for discharging the flue gases. The exhaust air module is provided with longitudinal axis (64) oriented parallel to longitudinal axis (24). The exhaust gas module is differently oriented at distribution module, around the longitudinal axis (64).
