The hydrostatic displacement machine (1) has a cylinder barrel (3) arranged around a rotational axis (2), where the cylinder barrel is provided with a piston recess (4), in which a piston (5) is arranged in longitudinally displaceable manner. The cylinder barrel is supported in area of a control surface by a slide bearing (G1) and the piston is supported on a stroke-generating path (7) by another slide bearing (G2). A bearing metal layer of bronze is formed on a slide bearing component of the slide bearing. The slide bearing component is formed by a steel body.
