Method for determining temperature range of aqueous urea solution in tank for after-treatment of exhaust gas system of motor car, involves storing detected and defined temperatures, and repeating all processes for predetermined time period
The method involves detecting temperature of a tank (1), and detecting ambient temperature of a motor car. A difference between the tank temperature and the ambient temperature of the motor car is detected such that temperature of a reducing agent (2) in the tank is defined based on the detected tank temperatures and the ambient temperature. The detected tank and ambient temperatures and the defined reducing agent temperature are stored. The temperature detection and defining processes are repeated for predetermined time period.
