The RJ45 plug (1) has plug housing (2) having contact region (3), which is insertable into a corresponding insertion opening of RJ45 socket, and a resilient locking element (4) which is formed at a side of the plug housing to cancel in order to latch the RJ45 plug with the RJ45 socket. A positioning element (10) positions RJ45 plug in the RJ45 socket in the contact region at the side of the locking element by an operation of the locking element outside of the RJ45 socket.
