The system (1) has an insulation layer (2) that is attached on masonry surface (3) by adhesive (4). The insulation layer-forming segment plates are connected with penetrating anchor bolts (6) to the masonry. A fabric reinforcement (7) with a plaster is coated on the attached insulation layer. The insulation layer (2) consists of a groove that is formed as a mat or sheet insulation layer, and a carrier layer is formed on the insulation layer (2). A joint for guidance (9) is arranged in an insulation layer (5) for cleaning. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing thermal insulation system.
