The vehicle window (1) has a display window (2) for a sensor system (3) which is located behind the vehicle window in the vehicle interior in the detection direction of vehicle window. A unit is provided in the region of the display window and by which the permeability of the vehicle window is varied for electromagnetic radiation. A unit alters the permeability of the vehicle window such that the change in response is performed in operating condition. An independent claim is included for a vehicle.
