The assembly (10) has radial bearing arrangements (12, 22) for rotatable bearing of a fan shaft (11) and comprising water lubrication. Bearing elements (13, 14) of one of the bearing arrangements, and an inner ring (23), an outer ring (24) and rolling elements (25) of the other bearing arrangement are partially coated with an amorphous carbon coating i.e. diamond-like carbon coating, where hardness of the carbon coating is 1000-7000 Vickers hardness, and elastic modulus of the carbon coating is 100-700 gigapascal. The rolling elements are arranged between the inner and outer rings. The radial bearing arrangements are designed as a slide bearing and a rolling bearing, respectively.
