The method involves selecting operating mode depending on the state of mind of driver, reproducing an audio signal in a motor vehicle, and obtaining information about selectable properties by which operating parameter is regulated. The audio signal is provided with a music signal. The information about the selectable properties of the audio signal is provided. The association between the type of reproduced music and the mode of motor vehicle is selected. The reversal of the operating parameters is initiated. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a circuit device; (2) a computer program product for controlling operating parameter of operating mode of vehicle; and (3) a machine-readable medium storing program for controlling operating parameter of operating mode of vehicle.
