The device (110) has a fluid sensor housing (112) into which fluid medium is partially introduced. The sensor housing has flow-through channel (114) of the fluid medium. A sensor chip (116) is connected with the carrier element (118) in such a way that the measuring surface and the rear face (122) of the sensor chip are traversed by the fluid medium. The measuring surface is arranged essentially parallel to rear surface. The sensor chip is connected with the carrier element by flip chip assembly.
