The method involves applying first color ink on an outer surface region (10) of power line (16). The second color ink is applied on outer surface region of power line. The first ink is applied in a main grid (12) and second ink is applied in an auxiliary grid (14). The main grid and auxiliary grid are arranged with respect to each other and dimensioned in specific region. The region color as a result of mixture of colors is viewed with naked eye from a distance of between 30 cm and 50 cm. An independent claim is included for a device for customizing line used in on-board system of motor car.
