The device (1) has an insulation casing (11) containing two LEDs (131,132) which is arranged at one end of a gap (111) filled with contents of stomach (21) of patient (2). The LEDs are configured to emit lights with two different wavelengths (lambda 1,lambda 2) towards the gap filled with contents of stomach. A photo transistor (141) arranged inside insulation casing and positioned at other end of the gap, is configured to detect intensity of light received from gap. A thread (121) and clip (122) are configured to attach the implantable device at a gastric wall (211) of the patient. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) kit comprising implantable device for continuous monitoring of bile reflux of patient; (2) method for continuous monitoring of bile reflux of patient; and (3) computer program product for continuous monitoring of bile reflux of patient.
