The tensioner (105) has a tension spring (11) clamped between a coupling (8) and an internal combustion engine. Tensioning rollers (6, 7) are pressed into a belt end. Two steering wheels (9, 10) connect the tensioner at the combustion engine. Two combustion engine-side coupling points (12, 13) of the steering wheels are arranged outside of a midpoint of a starter generator pulley (3). One of the tensioning rollers on a curved midpoint trajectory is guided into a working area of the tensioner. A center of curvature of the midpoint trajectory runs within diameter of the pulley.
