The method involves designing the test sequence with respect to the duration and force applied by the dynamometer to the drive train component during the test load effect, in order to retract the drive train component in the test stand. The load action in the test sequence is performed in form of rotational torque action and power action on the drive train component. The test sequence is performed for more than 45 hours. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) the drive train component; (2) a wind power plant; and (3) an end-of-line test stand of drive train component of wind power plant.
