The method involves defining activation conditions required for drying of brake actuators, and checking fulfillment of the conditions. Braking pressure required for a given wiping duration is adjusted based on the fulfillment of the conditions. The pressure is set to a constant value during a drying operation and corrected around a determined offset-value after the operation, where driving dynamics data e.g. vehicle longitudinal acceleration and/or accelerations of wheels acted upon with the pressure, are utilized for determining the offset-value before, during or after the operation.
