The control element has a pivotable lever (104) connected with a pivot axis (202) in torque proof manner and two bearing blocks (208), in which the axis is mounted. The bearing blocks have receptacles (212,213) as slide bearings for the axis. A clamping screw (216) is provided with which the friction of the axis is changed in the slide bearing. The bearing blocks are arranged on both sides of the lever. The clamping screw carries a spring unit.
