The method involves transforming the raw values (R1,R2), where the transformation takes place in a value range (W1) with a constant gradient and in another value range (W2) with a smaller amount of the gradient than in the former value range. The amount of the gradient in the former value range and the amount of the gradient in the latter value range are greater than zero. The transformed raw values are filtered by a filter (F). A result value (E) is obtained by inverse transformation of the filtered raw values. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program for executing a method for filtering raw values; and (2) a computer program product with a program code.
