Use of metal complexes with nitrogen-acylated siderophore ligands for enhancing oxidizing power of inorganic peroxygen compounds in oxidizing-, washing-, cleaning- or disinfecting solutions, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a washing-, cleaning- or disinfecting agent comprising the metal complex with the nitrogen-acylated siderophore ligands; (2) washing textiles or cleaning hard surfaces in presence of a peroxygen bleaching agent and the metal complex with the nitrogen-acylated siderophore ligand; and (3) the complex of nitrogen-acylated siderophore with silver, aluminum, gold, boron, bismuth, cerium, cobalt, copper, gallium, mercury, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, lead, platinum, ruthenium, titanium, uranium, vanadium and/or zinc, preferably manganese, vanadium, copper, molybdenum, cerium and/or bismuth.
