The housing has housing portions (1, 2) connected with each other by an axial working nut (3) in a force-fit manner. One housing portion exhibits large diameter than the other housing portion. The nut comprises an external thread, and the former housing portion comprises an internal thread. The housing portions are connected with each other by a form closure element e.g. groove pin, in a form-fit manner. The former housing portion is formed for partial retaining of an X-ray tube (10). The latter portion is formed for partial retaining of a drive motor for a rotating anode (12). The rotating anode is an X-ray tube rotating anode.
