The method involves performing mechanical transportation of a ceiling board (1,2) attached with a barrier wall (3) into a floor, in order to produce ceiling. The barrier wall is moved back to original position by using a conveyor, before transporting the barrier wall in the direction of ceiling board. The barrier wall is moved in the direction of ceiling board by using flaps and/or folding. An independent claim is included for a ceiling board.
