Valve timing control device for controlling opening and closing timing of intake and exhaust valves in combustion engine of automobile, has solenoid for controlling changing of hydraulic pressure at hydraulic pressure control valve
The device (1) has a vane rotor (30) fixed to a driver-side shaft. A hydraulic pressure control valve (40) changes hydraulic pressure supplied to or discharged from an advancing chamber. A solenoid (50) controls the changing of the hydraulic pressure at the hydraulic pressure control valve. A first tubular portion (91) extends from a housing (20) toward the solenoid. A second tubular portion (23) cooperates with the first tubular portion to form an oil receiving chamber (90) that accumulates the oil outputted from a gap and discharges oil from an oil passage (72). An independent claim is also included for a system for energy recovery from a waste heat current of a combustion engine.
