The battery system (1) has battery (2) that is composed of parallely arranged sub-batteries (T1-Tn), and configured to control electronic control device (3). Each sub-battery has serially connected battery cells (4) that are connected to electronic control device via electronic unit (5). Each electronic unit is arranged on basis of control signals from electronic control device associated with on or off of the sub-batteries for limiting electric current and increasing strength of sub-batteries.
