The pump has a foot part arranged in longitudinal direction (L) to a head piece (4) such that a drive part faces away from an end adjacent part, where the drive part is arranged in an axial end region of the pump. The foot part comprises a fluid inlet (7) and a receiving chamber for driving an impeller by the drive part. The foot part is formed with a housing portion (6') and a connecting part (6'') for receiving the impeller. The connecting part comprises a plastic molded part that is initially produced with excess length and cut to desired length (L0).
