The material testing device has a bifurcated pipe (3) infront of a locking- or regulating valve (1) and a sensor line (2) with a pressure sensor (12) and a temperature sensor (13), so that the thermal water flow infront of the production bore (11) is divided in two partial flows regulated with respect to the volume flow. Identical partial measurement lines are provided for the partial flows each with a regulating valve (8), flow meter (9) and a sample carrier (10). The sample carrier is vertically arranged and passes through from bottom to top. The sample bodies are fixed with the investigation surface parallel to flow direction.
