The method involves detecting the features (28,30) of the entering person (18) of the passenger compartment (4). The positions (20,22,24) of the cabin elements (6,8,10,14,16) in the passenger compartment are associated to the detected feature. The cabin element in the passenger compartment is transferred based on the feature assigned to position.
