The unit (20) has a power generation unit (22.A) for creation of an electric power for a motor unit (18.A). A motor contactor unit (32.A) partially produces a multi-phase electrical interconnection (34.A) between the motor unit and the power generation unit. The motor contactor unit comprises two separation units (36, 38) that comprise separation agents (40, 42) for separation of a phase of the interconnection. The separation agents are decoupled from each other with respect to an operating process. The separation units are mechanically coupled with each other by the separation agents. The motor unit is designed as a permanent synchronous machine.
