The intermediate element (100) has a first interface (102) for introducing the shock of a first construction profile (200) into the intermediate element main portion. A second interface (104) introduces the shock of the second construction profile into the main portion. An energy absorbing structure (106) is supported in an impact direction of the shock at the first and second interfaces and is arranged to absorb an impact energy of the shock by an irreversible deformation in the impact direction. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) frame for the transportation of load; (2) method for manufacturing a frame for the transportation of load; and (3) method for protecting load in a shock between two construction profiles.
