The assembly aid (8) has a joint jig (11) and two contact regions (12,13). The joint jig is contacted with a joint portion (14). One contact region (12) is formed complementary to the joint portion at adjacent region of an attachment structure (4), and another contact region (13) is formed complementary to the joint portion at adjacent region of an object (3). The aid main portion is secured on one hand or a finger (9) of a worker. An independent claim is included for a method for assembling decorative trim at rear lid of motor car.
