The method involves selecting (2) the to-be analyzed character strings from existing data base or from other data sources. The character strings are compared (3) with negative lists. An evaluation module is used for evaluating the results of comparison and decide whether the character strings are about the designation for products or services. The results are stored. The character strings are fragmented by the detection of delimiter into individual components. The components are compared with the concepts of the negative lists.
