The cornering light device has lighting units which are laterally mounted on a trailer and which are automatically switched-on during cornering and turning maneuvers on the curve inner sides of the trailer. One lighting unit is installed on each side of the trailer on the height of the axis. The lighting units are switched from a predetermined bending angle between the tractor and the trailer.
