The assembly has an armature disk (11) arranged in an attenuation metal sheet (2). A damping element i.e. O-shaped ring, is provided between the armature disk and a coil (4). A contact area between a damping plate and a damping part is spaced from the armature disk. The damping element is arranged concentric to shaft axis, where radius of the damping element is greater than radius of a shaft to-be-braked. Radius of the shaft to-be-braked is greater than that of a brake assembly area between the pressure plate and a coil core.
