The arrangement has a wheel suspension (2) comprising a steering wheel (6) or carrier i.e. transverse plate spring (12, 13), which is exposed to resilient bending deformations due to influencing forces acting on a motor car. The spring comprises a bending deformation seizing transmitter (17). The seizing transmitter is connected with a computing unit (18) of the car, and a height level of the car is calculated based on an evaluation of measurement values by the seizing transmitter. The spring is made of a plastic or a fiber reinforced plastic i.e. plastic matrix, and light metal or steel. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining height level of a car bodywork of a motor car over a track or relative to a wheel carrier of a wheel suspension of motor car.
