The spring damper (3) has two volume-variable air chambers, and a separation element pneumatically connected between the air chambers. The pneumatic energy between the air chambers is transferred through the separation element. The overload device is pneumatically connected between the air chambers. The transferred pneumatic energy is partly dissipatable through the overload device. The switched radiator is pneumatically connected between the air chambers. The heat energy (17) contained in the switched radiator is discharged through the air chambers. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for cooling a pneumatic spring damper; and (2) motor car.
