The plant has a condenser (1) for re-cooling and liquefying a working fluid. An evaporator assembly (2) is arranged downstream to the condenser and is comprised of the vaporizer units (2A-2C). A pump (4) is arranged between the condenser and the evaporator assembly. The valves (9,10) are provided for the connection/disconnection of the vaporizer units in the cyclic process, to control the flow of working fluid into the vaporizer units in the first phase, to take the heat from the working fluid in the second phase, and to leak out the heated working fluid to the workspace (7). An independent claim is included for a method for recovery of energy from heat in thermodynamic cycle.
