The milling machine (1) has a transmission shaft (5) which is mounted with respect to longitudinal axis (6). A milling cutter (7) is mounted on transmission shaft and provided with cutting edge with cutting radius. Other milling cutter rotated around the longitudinal axis is provided with cutting edge with cutting radius which is different from cutting radius of cutting edge of milling cutter (7). The cutting edge of other milling cutter is radially moved transverse to longitudinal axis between withdrawn operating position and retracted rest position by actuator unit (21).
