The pulling tool (10) has several relatively movable extraction hooks (22) for drawing off the radial shaft sealing ring from the component. The tool further has two relatively rotatable tool portions (12,14) of the respective guides (18,20), into which the hooks are engaged, such that the hooks are more displaceable in the radial direction relative to each other by the rotation of the tool portions relative to each other. An adjusting screw is provided extending in the radial direction, for enabling relative rotation of the tool portions.
