The closing unit has a plate (3) movable in a vertical direction relative to a stationary base board (2). A turntable (14) is designed as an index plate, and arranged between the base board and the movable plate. A sliding table (13) is arranged between the base board and the turntable such that the turntable is insertable or deployable from a region between the base board and the movable plate. The sliding table is supported via a clockwork mechanism. A locking device (5) locks multiple bars with the movable plate, and is formed as an electrical, electromagnetic or hydraulic locking device. The clockwork mechanism is designed as a hydraulic or magnetic piston cylinder unit or a spring such as a plate spring or an air cushion. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an injection molding machine (2) a method for manufacturing hybrid injection molded parts using an injection molding machine.
