The high-cycle HC03VRE and HC05VRE vertical micro injection molding machines from Plustech Inc., the North American branch of Sodick's IMM Division, are built for speed with high-speed rotary tables. The company's VRE Series now ranges from 3 to 150 tons. The 3- and 5-ton verticals also feature Sodick's V-Line two-stage plunger technology, which separates the plasticization and injection processes for consistent measurement and injection of the melt stream, along with a close/clamp system capable of providing sub-second dry cycle speeds.
