The motor car has a deck element (3,3') connected with a stiffener structure (7). The deck element is formed of fiber composite material. The stiffener structure is designed as a honeycomb core (5) or as a foam core. The deck element is provided with non-woven fabric embedded in a matrix material such as polypropylene, polyamide, polyurethane and/or epoxy resin. The deck element is partially reinforced with unidirectional fiber mat and is made of glass fiber, carbon or carbon fiber and/or natural fiber.
