The arrangement has grooves (2) for guiding ball rollers (3) of a ball roller carriage. The guided ball rollers in the grooves are of U-shaped cross section. The upper edges of the grooves are provided with chamfers (4,5) such that the groove depth is dimensioned to be smaller than the radius of ball roller. The ball rollers are locked transversely to the longitudinal extent of the groove with backlash. The angle of the chamfer is selected by the chamfering such that the ball roller is rolling on the tangential plane in the groove.
